Quality stamps for sale..
This morning over coffee I hit the web. Searching for stamps. Specifically from Persia.
I found a very common offered stamp. Scott #116 in gray. I own several of these in mint as well as mint hinged condition. They average between $10.00 - $15.00usd in either certified or none certified condition. With all stamps condition is paramount. The better they look, the better they sell. Speaking of condition, let's look at the fine offering I found on the web:
I can tell you as a very advanced collector of persia this stamp is valid. The brown gum on the reverse is all money. Reprints will have white gum. What isn't money to resell or collect is the top of the stamp. Its damaged. The huge hinge doesn't help, but it appears to be hiding something. Is that a tear? Anyways, the creases that look like a LA freeway road map going back and forth from one side to the other makes me cringe. That top right/left corner is also rounded and missing a perf. For the average collector this stamp would fill an empty space in album and sit on a shelf for many years, and the be revisited 10-20 years later.
When looking for quality stamps to collect or resell-condition is a must
