Wading through some Australian stamps-

 I stumbled across this stamp-I have always liked Thylacine's. Heck they are extinct-well here's one:

Scott# 788(A), type 2. I guess from reading the catalogue, the heavy line by the ear makes it a type 2.

Well $0.40 in value makes me head back to the pile in search of more.
